Vehicle Description I have owned this 1966 short bed C10 Chevy 4x4 283 for 4 years now and it has been fun and a head turner since the day I purchased it, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
It has a Muncie 4 SPD transmission in it, new dual master cylinder, new booster, brake hoses, proportioning valve, vacuum hose, new front pads, rotors, calibers, all new front brake lines.
Truck stops on a dime.
Power steering unit has been serviced and maintained.
Front axle wheel bearings, seals, hubs are all new and serviced.
Has Warn manual lock out hubs with 4 wheel shifter in the cab for easy four wheelin.
283 has been serviced regularly with new motor oil, oil filter and new plugs.
Interior is clean with a black bench seat and new tri-tach gauges have been added.
All gauges work fine.
The vehicle is currently registered and insured with Hagerty.
Its fun to take to car shows and local cruise nights and gets many looks.
Many new parts to list.
New cab mounts and bed body mounts, new exhaust, new wipers, new nerf side bars added for easy in and out of cab.
This truck is almost stock as it was in 66.
All lights, signals, horn, heater, defrost, radio, tach and gauges work.
New west-coast side mirrors have been added and look great.
From what I know, I believe to be the 3rd or 4th owner of this truck.
Body and paint is in great shape, no rush or pitting anywhere.
The Blue and white 2 tone looks great, since I have owned it truck has been always garaged.
Wife and I are getting up in age and stock height is getting harder for us to get in and out, truck will be missed.
