For Sale: 1979 MG MGB in Newtown, Connecticut for sale in Newtown, CT

1 of 24
Vehicle Description 1979 MG-B Roadster Project Purchased several years ago from TN.
with no rust for a father son project, it got started with all sorts of energy.
Unfortunately, life gets in the way and due to some family issues, the car is being sold as is.
The entire front cross-member and suspension was pulled, and either cleaned and repainted or new parts sourced.
The dash was pulled, as were the gauges.
Tons of new parts were purchased, including A arms, bushings, brake calipers, shock absorbers, lights, lenses, cables, weatherstripping, etc.
The engine turns freely but has had the carb pulled.
There is evidence that a new Weber was purchased but could not be found at this writing.
As mentioned, the body is rust free and could be used as a new starting point for a current project or finish this one off.
It does appear as though the parts that have been taken off are all on site, however, no guarantee of that can be made.
The car does not roll and as such, the buyer will need to bring adequate supplies to get the car from the garage.
Asking price is $2000 considering the rust free nature of the car and the mass of parts, both old and new.
Any questions, or for many more photos, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks for the interest.
