Newtown Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our referral and emergency practice.

Newtown Veterinary Specialists (NVS) is a multidisciplinary small animal referral and emergency hospital located in Newtown, CT. We are the only Level II Certified Veterinary Emergency & Medical Care Center in New England. Our team of specialists includes surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, dermatology, behavior, dentistry and emergency/critical care. The facility is housed in a 15,000 square foot building. The hospital offers a wide range of diagnostics including CT, digital radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy, as well as advanced surgical procedures.

Our ideal candidate will have completed an internship or have at least one year of experience. The right individual will be a team player with a positive and friendly attitude, a commitment to practice the highest quality medicine with confidence, and be able to communicate effectively with pet owners, fellow team members, clients and the referring veterinary community.

Newtown is a growing and lively part of Fairfield County while maintaining its small town charm. The fifth largest town in the state, located about sixty miles from New York City, Newtown was established in 1711 and offers a convenient location for both living and working. With many lively events and a diverse food scene, Newtown provides a variety of attractions. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
