Lead Resource Planner (Western)

Job Description Summary:
Individual provides leadership and support to geographically based scheduling group that develops and administers the Weekly and Daily Schedule for workers responsible for constructing and maintaining the Electric Distribution system; responsible for supervising schedulers based in Stamford, Norwalk, Newtown, and Torrington.
Provides direct supervision and coaching to the Planning and Scheduling Group. Fosters an environment of teamwork, creativity and problem solving.
Manages performance by reviewing and evaluating work of employees. Builds consensus and communicates performance measures and expected performance levels. Assesses and improves team and employee performance through coaching and on-the-job training.
Oversees the work planning/scheduling process, including preparation and prioritization of work plans and schedules, resource and materials requirements and forecasts, and coordination with other processes for optimal resource utilization.
Leads the standardization and integration of all schedules used in the Integrated Planning & Scheduling function.
Identifies, develops and implements work process and best practices for Integrated Planning & Scheduling.
In addition, individual may develop, coordinate and maintain an integrated construction schedule for a designated group, including reports (scorecards) to measure organizational performance.
Ensures the integrity and accuracy of data through bi-weekly project update meetings
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill: Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel).
Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related education/experience, and a minimum of five (5) years' of related experience required; leadership experience a plus. Working knowledge of Electric Distribution systems, interfaces, and activities a plus. Familiarity with state-of-the-art work management systems and scheduling techniques a plus. Experience leading process improvement initiatives highly desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
