Accountability Objective:
Coordinate and manage production personnel and equipment priorities to produce finished goods and components to meet production schedules.
Work with internal / external personnel to eliminate production constraints.
Responsible for directing and supervising employees and monitoring production work flow.
Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to assure products are made to engineering specifications and production schedules are met.
Principal Accountabilities :
Manage manufacturing staff priorities and maintain worker continuity by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, engaging and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by ensuring compliance with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
Identify and report any unsafe acts or conditions to management personnel.
Actively support the plant safety committee activities to promote safety awareness and compliance.
Insure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, UL, CSA and ISO Quality Standards.
Drive and sustain continuous improvements in all areas through the use of Lean manufacturing techniques.
Identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommend corrective action.
Review and analyze daily operations reports to evaluate production performance.
Manage staff and work flow to maintain alignment with business goals for productivity and service levels for both stock and non-stocking items.
Responsible for budgetary control in the departments to keep within the established guidelines.

Education and Work Experience :
Bachelor's degree 2
years management / supervisory experience with direct production related responsibilities.
Experience with lean manufacturing practices and Kaizen activity Must be proficient with use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
SAP experience a plus Knowledge of injection molding and automated assembly operations is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO9000 audit programs and a capacity to work within this structure to meet Manufacturing and Engineering requirements.
Skills Demonstrated ability to use judgment and make decisions as to the accuracy and completeness of information and work performed.
Ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities.
Strong planning, organizational and follow up skills.
Excellent communication skills up and down organizational structure.
Proficiency in English language.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business reports, engineering documentation and procedures.
Competence with writing reports and business correspondence.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
