Lincoln Tech in Shelton, CT has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing Education.
You must be an experienced Nurse with teaching and management experience.
You will help to achieve optimum student retention and maintain the highest level of quality, ethics, and integrity.
You will ensure that the school's operations are in full compliance with all government, accreditation, and Company policies and procedures.
Some evening hours are required as this role manages the evening program.

years of management experienceResponsibilitiesAssist with faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientationMentor faculty members; provide support and direction in areas of educational developmentAssist faculty in instructional delivery methods that address students' differing learning stylesEnsure that all instructors are present, and that adequate provisions are made for classes affected by faculty absencesEvaluate and update the Faculty Education Plan (FEP) for all nursing facultyAssist with faculty file reviewAssist with the academic scheduling of faculty and studentsOversee the Clinical Skill Lab, including scheduling of students and facultyConduct classroom observations and surveys; review results with faculty, students, and the Director of Nursing - PN, as appropriateSupport and enforce school and academic policies and procedures; advise and support instructors, as neededAssist in addressing students' questions and concerns regarding attendance, curriculum and progression, graduation, and re-entry standards or issuesMaintain an inventory of all equipment, book supplies, training aids, and course materials, within the respective program, as applicableManage student progress from orientation to graduation.
Ensure satisfactory academic progress as it relates to student progression.
