The successful candidate is responsible for scheduling patient appointments with the appropriate provider and confirming patient demographics, insurance, etc.
It's important that all calls are answered promptly in a friendly, positive, professional manor, and that accurate information is provided to our patients.
Other duties include setting up automated reminders, mailing forms and other related administrative functions.
Must have good communication and computer skills, exceptional multitasking skills, excellent attention to detail and have a pleasant demeanor.
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates preferred.
DAWC requires proficient working knowledge of computers, including e-mail, navigating through programs, word processing, appointment scheduling, and electronic record keeping software.
Candidate must have experience with practice management software systems and EMR preferred.
The schedule will be 8am-5pm Monday, Thursday, Friday and alternating Saturdays.
