Catalyx is seeking energetic and motivated applicants that areinterested in joining a fast-paced industrial automation services& delivery team. The Systems Delivery Supervisor will be partof a dedicated team responsible for pre-assembly and installation ofcutting-edge image-based barcode reading & package trackingelectro/mechanical systems at many of the largest e-commercefulfillment and retail distribution facilities around the country. The Systems Delivery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing andcoordinating daily production/delivery activities, ensuring efficientproduction and order fulfillment, quality conformance, and maintaininga safe and organized work environment. This role will require strongleadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to qualityand safety. The domain and working environment aligns well with thosewho are mechanically and/or electrically inclined and who havemechatronics background and experience. At times, the Systems Delivery Supervisor will lead teams inperforming final system installation, configuration, and testing atthe various customer distribution/fulfillment facilities around NorthAmerica. However, it is expected that the Systems DeliverySupervisor will spend approximately 75% of their time coordinatingwarehouse delivery/production activities. Domain specific training will be provided, but a willingness andcapability to apply the training principles will be critical to thecandidate's success in this role. The Systems DeliverySupervisor is an integral member of the delivery group and asuccessful team member may rise through the business unit by gaininggreater levels of responsibility. Accomplished Systems DeliverySupervisors may also progress into roles within the Systems DeliveryEngineering and Project Engineering groups. Requirements Key
Responsibilities:
-Supervise Delivery Operations:
Direct and oversee daily deliveryactivities, including receiving, storage, production, testing, orderpicking, packing, and shipping. -Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate staff, providing guidance,training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity. -Production Planning:
Collaborate with the Production Manager andother department heads to develop production schedules and ensuretimely order fulfillment. -Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regularstock checks, and assist in inventory control to minimize stockoutsand overstock situations. -Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensureaccurate picking, packing, and shipping of products, maintaining ahigh level of product quality. -Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, conduct regularsafety training, and ensure that all team members follow safetyguidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. -Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for processimprovements and efficiency enhancements, and work with the ProductionManager to implement changes. -Reporting:
Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs),such as productivity, accuracy, and inventory levels, and reportfindings to management. -Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure proper maintenance of deliveryequipment and machinery to minimize downtime and repair costs.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma with demonstrated professional experienceand/or Trade education and professional training/certifications willbe considered. -Proven experience in warehouse or production supervision,preferably in a similar industry. -Strong leadership and team management skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. -Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. -Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and schematics. -High energy, self-motivated individual that can meet strictdeadlines, and is results oriented. -Ability to be customer facing, while maintaining professionalcommunications through in-person conversations with onsite customerleadership, company leadership, and team members. -Enjoys getting hands dirty and being involved in building,testing, and du-bugging tools throughout the delivery cycle. -Must be mechanically inclined with demonstrated proficiency inmechanical assembly and have outstanding manual dexterity. -Must be willing to travel within the continental US on shortnotice and, at times, spend more than 25% of the time traveling. Maybe continuously away from home for as long as a month. -Must be willing to be available to work during off hours,weekends, holidays, and off shifts as required to meet project requirements. -Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors,hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing onconcrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces. -Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each. -Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below thewaist and above the head. -Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation. -Must be in possession of a valid driver's license.
